San Diego News Jet Pack Fail

San Diego's local fox field reporter was at the Marina during the start of the news broadcast standing next to a boat and a guy with a water powered jet pack on his back. When the Jet-Pack man tried to take off, he almost knocks the reporter into the water, but instead he flies head first into the ocean.

The producers cut back to the main news team who are laughing and trying to figure out what's going on and then cut back for a few seconds so we can see that the man can actually fly around in his water propulsion jet pack.

Tampa's Josh Cascio Misses a Short Soccer Kick

Tampa Florida's Fox affiliate WTVT was doing a report on the women's world cup soccer tournament in 2011 when he decided to rather than "toss it back" to the anchors to "kick it back" to them by kicking a soccer ball into a little goal about 10 feet away. The poor chump misses by a wide margin and the anchor lady busts his chops a little bit.

Bob Eubanks comments on the "in the butt" blooper on the newlywed game

Bob Eubanks the host of the Newlywed Game decides to share his thoughts on the most famous clip from the show when he asks, "Where is the most unusual place you had whoopi?" and the lady answers "In the butt bob."

Apparently that never actually aired. What she really said was, "in the a$$" but the producers tossed that vulgar language---however, when a filmmaker wanted to use it, they paid the lady $5,000 and she gave her permission for the outtake to be used in some film.

KHOU's Brad caught smoking during a fire

KHOU was covering a local fire and their local field report Brad was busy smoking his cigarette while the anchors switched over to him. He promptly grabbed the mike and started reporting on the accident. Overall he did a good job for being surprised.

Funniest Field Crashers and Sports Streakers

Here's a funny highlight reel of people crashing sports field in a variety of ways during live competitions. Whether it's a bikini girl interrupting a soccer match or a "referee" with a tear away uniform to streak across a football field it's pretty humorous. Although, these mad-dashers have to look out for the security guards or players who tend to be prone to trip or tackle the people.

MNF -- Packers vs. Bears a fan catches the extra point attempt

At work today I was talking about one of the major highlights from Monday Night Football of yesteryear. In 1995, the Green Bay Packers were playing the Chicago Bears at Soldier field when one of the kickers kicked an extra point well over the net and some fan jumped out of the stands (and probably 10 - 15 feet off of the ground) and he catches the football.

After the catch he makes his way back to his seat, the announcers are shocked that he didn't break his legs or twist his ankles, and he does an on camera interview in which he says that he's from the north side of Chicago, played high school football and has great hands... Best of all---the guy has a mullet (Party on Wayne, Party on Garth)...
