Celtics Start the game with a long snap.

During a recent Boston Celtics versus L.A. Lakers basketball game in Boston the Celtics started the game in very a strange way. After winning the tip-off, they long snap it backwards to the guard hanging out on the free throw line, he then hikes it behind himself and starts dribbling the ball upcourt to start the game. It really was a funny way to start the game and should have made ESPN's funny highlight reel for the week.

Spud Webb's top dunks

Spud Webb, the shortest player to ever win the NBA's slam dunk content, shows off his talent in this highlight reel.  The guy had to be only 5'7" and he managed to throw down some pretty impressive dunks.  This isn't really a funny video or a blooper video---Just a pretty amazing sports performance from the 1980s.

McDonalds Commercial with Lebron James and Larry Bird

So as I'm sitting on the couch watching the NCAA men's basketball tournament, an interesting commercial comes on. McDonalds has a funny spot that features Lebron James and Dwight Howard making a wager where the winner gets to eat a McDonalds lunch and the loser has watch the other eat it.



As the bet plays out, the two put on a fantastic slam-dunk show and when Howard breaks the backboard, they look towards the seat to see Larry Bird finishing up the last fry in the bag.

Then they say, "Who's that?"

For my younger readers out there, Larry Bird is not only one of the best players to play the game---but he has also appeared in a few other interesting McDonald's commercial of yesteryear.
