Australia's Next Top Model Blooper

When Fox aired a live episode to announce the winner of its version of "Next Top Model" the announcer did the unthinkable... They announced the wrong name as the winner.

Needless to say this is quite the screw up on live TV.

Bay News 9 Blooper

On Sept 25, 2010 this field reporter didn't realize that she was on live TV. And was talking about how she was "dying to take off this blazer", yells at her producer for being nasty and then goes on discuss her plans for a Halloween Costume--(Which was going to be some rendition of Lady GaGa that she wants to wear to the office)...

What's surprising is how long she was on live TV before the producer pulled the plug.

Al Roker's leg is humped by a drunk break dancing ewok

During Halloween 2009, the friendly folks at NBC's "The Today Show" dressed up in Star Wars related costumes. The now skinny weatherman, Al Roker, was dressed up as either han solo or Lando Carlisian and he was being entertained by some break-dancing and moon-walking ewoks... It was pretty funny at first, but I really think that those midgets in the suits were probably drunk. Especially after one of the ewoks humped Al Roker's leg.

The guys at E!'s Talk Soup recently showed this clip and sometimes you might spot it on VH1 as well.

What do you think?

Rick Steves Travel Reporter Bloopers

Sometimes before we watch our weekend local news, we turn on PBS and watch the Travel programming provided by Rick Steves as he tours around Europe. In fact we even used his books when we went on holiday overseas.

Watching the program, he appears elegant, smooth and extremely knowledgeable. However, after watching these funny out-takes and bloopers, you'll realize that Rick is just human and I'm guessing he sometimes needs multiple takes in order to capture what he really wants on film.

The clips below are some of the best blooper reels from this travel corespondent's many adventures.

Indiana Diving Bloopers

Watching the Olympics or NCAA diving programs I'm always impressed by how effortless and perfect the divers seem to be. It takes years of practice and athleticism to get that good. However, it's not always that perfect. The Indiana Hoosiers collegiate diving team has a blooper reel of dives gone bad.

This series of Indiana diving bloopers is about 4 minutes long and has been viewed over 4.5 million times. It's definitely a little painful to watch some of these falls---or dives.

Did the New York Jets harrass Inez Sainz, the hot Mexican sports reporter?

This is Inez Sainz the hot TV reporter from Mexico representing TV Azteca that caused a big media storm this week by supposedly getting harrassed by some New York Jets players and staff while covering the team's training camp this September.

The team supposedly was making jokes about her and making her uncomfortable while she tried to interview Mark Sanchez... She heard people making embarrassing uncomfortable comments... But looking at how she was dressed (and sometimes she's flirty) she got a lot of cat-calls and whistles. Her jeans were essentially painted on, and "she pretend to not hear anything"

BBC weatherman flips the middle finger

BBC weather man Tomasz Schafernaker flips the bird and shows the camera his middle finger when the anchor man and lady turn the story over to him. He ends up covering up his snafu with a little goofy hand gesture while the the other on air talent tries to explain it away.

iPhone 4 versus HTC EVO

This funny cartoon youtube clip shows how goofy the logic can be for people who want an iPhone (or black berry for that matter) rather than considering the benefits of other mobile phones such as the HTC EVO (which is available on the sprint network; not on AT&T's mobile network).

I think it's funny, because when you watch the local news they always talk about Apple product launches of the iPhone, iPad and iPod but they really don't do product comparisons for the TV watchers to realize that competition is delivering some really great products out there right now.

Soccer Blooper---Goalie too busy celebrating to stop penalty kick

In this soccer blooper; the goalie stops the penalty kick he starts celebrating how great he is; but the ball has plenty of spin on it, and picks up enough momentum to cross the goal line. The penalty kicker is busy pleading his case to the referee while the goal keeper finally realizes that what he thought was a save was actually a point.
