TV Anchor Gets hit in the head by a laptop

ABC World News Now morning anchor was talking about a news study that showed how exposure to wifi signals for more than 4 hours may negatively impact a man's sperm count... After reporting on the story he promptly shuts his laptop to remove it from the desk and his laptop hits the other reporter in the head.

Planking Man Stuck in Man Hole

Fox's local news caster tells the story of a Ceres man who got stuck in a man hole. Only his feet remained sticking out of the storm drain. To make things even funnier, the female reporter struggles to remove the iron grate and sticks her arms and head into the storm drain to recreate the event.

The man claims he was roughed up by some other kids who tossed his cell phone down the drain; he went to retrieve it and got stuck there for over 40 minutes before the neighbors spotted his shoes sticking up out of the hole.

Georgetown Fights Chinese Basketball team

Recently the Georgetown mens basketball team were visiting China as part of a goodwill tour. During one particularly physical game with tons of fouls called (mainly against the hoyas), a fight breaks out. Punches were thrown, players were pushed, the benches cleared out, and even chairs were thrown. After a while the tensions calm down enough for John Thompson to lead his team back off of the court to the locker room and by that time the crowd was throwing bottles.

The two teams supposedly made up after the event and are supposed to play a second game on Sunday night in Shanghai.

Canucks Hockey Fan Jumps Over Burning BMW

After the Vancouver Canucks lost the 2011 NHL champtionship, the crazy hockey fans (hoodlums) decided riot. During the chaos, somebody lit a new BMW M5 car on fire and plenty of partiers/rioters were cheering and taking pictures and one (probably intoxicated) bloke decided to try and jump over the car. The kid takes a spill in the firy car before rolling off of it. The local news reporter could only say, "no that's an idiot".

Camel Eats Reporter's Hair

NBC 12 - Richmond decided to send their local field reporter to some sort of farm to do a puff-piece of news. Tara Morgan happily starts her story with the camel off to her left, and then the two-humped beast decides to take a bite of Tara's hair.

The camera man and Ms. Morgan jump into action to release her from the jaws of the dromedary. Maybe one of these days Tara will end up being an anchor and she won't have to do such dangerous work any more.

Jimmy Kimmel Shows a Weatherman getting hit by a snow plow

Jimmy Kimmel--the late night comedian shows a news clip from CNN's Headline News channel (HN) where a weatherman is reporting about a blizzard that has hit Oklahoma City---At first he sees one truck with a snow plow on it drive by---But then the second truck (that he doesn't see) hits the weatherman.

(At least this was fake).

WFSB Blooper - Weatherman Gets Blown Away

In this 1980's classic blooper, WFSB's weatherman, Hilton Kaderli gets blown back twenty feet from wind gusts that must be going 100 miles per hour.

This blustery / blizzard like weather is not uncommon at the top of Mt. Washington in New Hampshire (The live free or die state).

It's storms like that (and hurricanes) that make you wonder, "why on earth do news producers feel that we need to see people reporting in such dangerous conditions---they could just as easily (and more safely sit in the studio and tell us, 'it's windy outside'"

Soccer Lineman loses his Wig

In this sports blooper a football (Soccer) player kicks the ball and it hits the lineman in the head causing him to fall and lose his wig, revealing his bald head. The poor soccer referee lost his toupee and looked quite dinged up after the incident... But I'm guessing it hurt his pride and ego as much as it hurt his head.

Amazing Race Melon Blooper

During the 2010 season of the Amazing Race, Brook & Clair (the pink team) were participating in a challenge in England where they have to use a giant sling shot to shoot melons at suits of armor. Unfortunately, the medieval weapon backfired and hit Clair right in the face. The watermelon shattered on her forehead. But she ended up completing the task---And they eventually came in 2nd place in the overall race to the finish. (Which means they didn't get their million dollars).

Surprisingly her nose wasn't broken.

Indiana Diving Bloopers

Watching the Olympics or NCAA diving programs I'm always impressed by how effortless and perfect the divers seem to be. It takes years of practice and athleticism to get that good. However, it's not always that perfect. The Indiana Hoosiers collegiate diving team has a blooper reel of dives gone bad.

This series of Indiana diving bloopers is about 4 minutes long and has been viewed over 4.5 million times. It's definitely a little painful to watch some of these falls---or dives.

Action 5 News' Chuck Storm is setting up a story by walking while talking... Bad idea, he smacks into pole or a sign and his face takes the brunt of the impact.

"I'm chuck storm and I'm live at the scene where last night there was a robbery when at 3:30 in the morning police received a ***SMACK**** ..... ohhh god... Ouch"

Good looking Soccer Reporter gets hit in the head

This good looking European soccer reporter gets knocked along side her head with a futball while discussing the game. But remarkably she keeps on speaking and as far as I can tell she doesn't miss a beat.

Reporter Attacked by a Cat

Kathleen Cochrane of Cleveland's Fox Channel #8 was doing a report on a local man being held for animal abuse charges, when in the middle of her report the tabby cat that she's holding claws aggressively at her face and she drops the kitty.

Kathleen admits that, "I'm obviously not a cat person"; and the anchor man recognizes the fact right away that the video is bound to show up on youtube.

Guy lets foul ball hit his girl friend

In August 2010, this guy decides to take his date to the Houston Astros versus the Atlanta Braves major league baseball game. While seated along the third-base line foul line, a batter knocks a baseball out of bounds... The young man dodges the ball and lets it smacks his girl right on her arm.

She's understandably hurt, and her date decides to chase after the foul ball for a souvenir. Fortunately, the local sports anchor manages to get an interview in the stands, while the producers repeatedly show a replay of the hit smacking the girl's arm.

GM's Wind Tunnel Lab

Jeff Flock of the Fox Business Channel goes to General Motor's Warren test facilities to report on the wind tunnel technology that the auto company uses to test the aerodynamics of its vehicle fleet.

Personally, I think the guy is insane, because he thought it would be a good idea to get tethered to the ground and to have the lab technicians jack up the wind speed to 125 mph while trying to describe the experience.

Needless to say, what looked cool and interesting at 35 mph wind, looked downright painful once the turbines went over 100 mph. I don't even know how Jeff could breath, let alone talk at speeds that high.

Chinese car crash bloopers

This compilation video shows the hazards of driving, walking or riding a bike in China. Closed circuit cameras catch all sorts of accidents at various small intersections in China... I think they should really invest in some stop signs... You'll see cars hitting other cars, mopeds, bikers and walkers. It's almost like nobody is looking both ways before crossing the street. Makes you want to wear a seat belt at all times; even if you're riding in a taxi.

The short four minute video has dozens of car crashes taking place in China---and as more cars get sold there, you can count on more of these videos popping up.

1970's British Reporter gets hit in the head by a plane in flight

This idiotic reporter decides to become part of the story when he gets hit in the head by a small propeller plane that is dropping smoke bombs at the air show. The plane's wing got some damage to it, and the man had to be taken to the hospital.

Reporter Fails at Breaking a Car Window

This field reporter was doing a story about just "how easy it is for burglars to smash a car window and steal the contents of your vehicle".

The poor kid tries to smash the driver's side window about 5 times, and the hammer just bounces off of it. Then the junk yard manager shows him how to smash the window on the passenger side. Our reporter tries it again, and the driver's window falls inside the door, but doesn't crack open.

He takes harder and harder swings to the rear passenger glass until it finally breaks---and he can then finish his story. Unfortunately for the reporter he busted up his hand and had bloody knuckles at the end of this ordeal.

Extreme Sports Bloopers---Ouch

This clip highlights some of the most extreme sports bloopers that make you say, "Ouch! that's gotta hurt". You'll see skate boarders, bike riders, roller-skaters, bull-fighters, matadors, and my favorite---professional midget wrestlers. The little guy accidentally slides about 6 feet across the ring on his forehead! If he did that on purpose, I'd be really impressed---but I'm guessing it was just a bit of (bad) luck... You can rest assured that your local sports caster would have loved to show half of these clips on the evening news.
