Anchorman wants to canoodle with the weather girl

This anchorman was a little confused after a news segment that featured a 70 year old lady using the term "canoodle" (which means fooling around)... As the anchor tosses it over to the weather girl, he says he wants to canoodle with her... She says, there will be no canoodling... Apparently the producer was in his ear explaining that canoodling doesn't mean talking.

KTLA weatherman Henry DiCarlo was doing a live segment from the L.A. Metro---It appears that he got upset at his producers for trying to incorporate an interview in the same segment. So Henry got mad and walked off the live interview. The Anchor man quipped if he'd like some cheese with that whine and tried to laugh it off.

East Coast Snow - Trick or Treat

The east coast snow storm that hit the East Coast this Halloween is dumping up to 2 feet of snow and caused power outages for over 1.5 million people. Needless to say, air traffic was disrupted as was trick-or-treating. It's a good thing the buffalo bills are playing Toronto this weekend... Otherwise it would have been a mess for sports fans in Upstate New York.

Weather Girl caught eating on set

Fox 4's local weather personality thought she was off-camera, when she was actually on live TV stuffing her face with a snack. Other anchors were busy laughing at her, but the camera stayed on her and she had no idea. Instead she just kept eating.

I think in the future she'll snack in the lunchroom.

During Hurricane Irene when the weathermen were busy reporting from storm-hit Virginia Beach, some local-yokals decided to run-around shirtless behind the meteorologist. Then one of the guys decides to give a full moon to the camera man and the at-home viewers.

Snowman Slide in Lake Tahoe makes for fun sledding

What do you do when a winter storm approaches? Well for some clever residents of Lake Tahoe, Nevada they spent hours shoveling the snow and sculpting it to form what at first looks like a snowman, but that is really a self-contained figure-eight sledding hill.

This news clip is very impressive---kids have a ball sliding down the the back of the snowman and around a sharp hairpin turn before making their way through a tunnel carved out of the base of the snow man.

Jimmy Kimmel--the late night comedian shows a news clip from CNN's Headline News channel (HN) where a weatherman is reporting about a blizzard that has hit Oklahoma City---At first he sees one truck with a snow plow on it drive by---But then the second truck (that he doesn't see) hits the weatherman.

(At least this was fake).

Thundersnow Hits Chicago

Jim Cantore of the weather channel was reporting live from downtown Chicago during the great Blizzard of 2011, when the huge blizzard that dumped two feet of snow and packed 60 mph winds resulted in quite a few bouts of Thundersnow---A blizzard that is packed with lightning and thunder.

In all of my life, I've only seen it twice. It's truly a rare occurrence.

Toowoomba Flood in Brisbane Australia washes away a parking lot full of Cars

Recently all of the rain and flooding that has hit Australia caused some rivers to overflow their banks and wash away about twenty cars from the car park (Parking Lot for the Americans out there).

This amazing video was shot by an office worker from an upper level conference room at work. The East Creek near Chalk Lane just swelled over its banks reaching a critical flood stage. One guy got outside to fiddle with his range rover SUV's tires and just barely managed to drive his truck out of danger. However, over a dozen owners of small cars had their vehicles disappear in a gush of murky river water.

It's truly an amazing weather video that has been getting a lot play in newsrooms around the world.

Cars Slide and Crash Down an Icy Road

As the blizzard of 2011 hits the East Coast hard this week with over a foot of snow, I thought it would be interesting to look at this montage that CNN put together of cars and trucks sliding out of control crashing into each other outside of Spokane, Washington during 2010.

This winter will definitely be one to remember and hopefully, drivers take it easy and don't go out in the inclement weather unless they really need to. It's best if you have 2 wheel drive vehicle to stay home... Leave the roads to the snow plows and people with 4 wheel drive trucks and SUV's.

WFSB Blooper - Weatherman Gets Blown Away

In this 1980's classic blooper, WFSB's weatherman, Hilton Kaderli gets blown back twenty feet from wind gusts that must be going 100 miles per hour.

This blustery / blizzard like weather is not uncommon at the top of Mt. Washington in New Hampshire (The live free or die state).

It's storms like that (and hurricanes) that make you wonder, "why on earth do news producers feel that we need to see people reporting in such dangerous conditions---they could just as easily (and more safely sit in the studio and tell us, 'it's windy outside'"

Streakers Interupt BBC's Snow Report

During BBC 24's snow report in Scotland Laura Bicker was caught off guard by two young guys streaking both in front of her and behind her in their white underwear.

And in case you're wondering---It looked like boxers and (boxer) briefs were both represented.

Cleveland Weatherman is bothered by a Streaker during a blizzard

This local Cleveland weatherman is doing a field reporter in downtown during a cold blustery snow storm. While he's interviewing another citizen bundled up in a winter coat, hat and scarf a naked / shirtless streaker starts dancing right behind the meteorologist! And the streaker has the gumption to say, "It's cold out here---woooo!"... Pretty funny if you ask me.

CTV Reporter throws his microphone into the Polar Bear Pond

Toronto's CTV evening news weatherman Tom Brown was doing a report from the Zoo celebrating Halloween by tossing three pumpkins into the water for the polar bears to eat. The zoologist pitches in the first orange gourd. Tom shoots the second pumpkin into the water as if it were a basketball---And finally on the third pumpkin Mr. Brown loses his microphone into the chilly polar bear pond. Realizing that the viewers at home can no longer hear him, he plays charades as he kicks it back to the anchors in the studio. They do a good job of covering his mistake, in what I consider to be one of the funniest news bloopers of the year.

A spider creeps out the folks on the Daily Buzz

A huge spider invades the set of the wildly funny "The Daily Buzz". A lot of the on air staff and morning anchors seem quite scared... Fortunately for everybody Mitch English catches the spider live! He lets it crawl around a piece of paper and on his hand to show it to the camera and his coworkers...
