In L.A., NBC channel 4's Robert Kovacik was reporting live on the scene when a big cockroach crawled over his shoulders. Kovacik didn't even notice the bug scurrying, but if he had I'm guessing he'd swat the insect off of himself.

NBC's Jay Leno who hosts his late night comedy show every weeknight has become famous for a skit in which he shows funny and strange headlines that various newspapers and magazines around the country have published. It's amazing what makes it past the editors. Fortunately for viewers, Jay has a small army that can find the best and most funny headlines and reports to bring to his viewers every Monday night. Talk Soup Makes Fun of NBC and CBS's morning shows

Joel McHale of talk soup fame on E! took to task a morning anchor from "Good Morning America" for repeatedly asking the daughter of a face-transplant reciepent of what the Mom will say once she recovers--even though she's blind. The daughter kept saying, "my mom's blind" but the reporter just didn't get it.

Then in a different news segment, the reporters were trying to show how dangerous it is to play with fire---but the T-shirt on a stick never caught ablaze even though it was inches away from the flame... They said things went better during rehearsal.

Camel Eats Reporter's Hair

NBC 12 - Richmond decided to send their local field reporter to some sort of farm to do a puff-piece of news. Tara Morgan happily starts her story with the camel off to her left, and then the two-humped beast decides to take a bite of Tara's hair.

The camera man and Ms. Morgan jump into action to release her from the jaws of the dromedary. Maybe one of these days Tara will end up being an anchor and she won't have to do such dangerous work any more.

Baby Micah Laughs at Ripping Paper

This Morning on NBC's Saturday edition of "the Today Show", they showed a new web-hit of little baby Micah laughing hysterically at her Dad ripping a bunch of paper in front of her. It turns out the paper was actually a job rejection letter that the baby's father received in the mail that day.



When we watched this clip, both of us were laughing along with the little kid... It's definitely a fluff news piece that reporters frequently report on... I'm guessing when it's a slow news day, they just say, "let's find something interesting/funny/uplifting from youtube."

Tracy Morgan thinks that Sarah Palin is Good Looking

For some reason the producers of TNT's basketball broadcast thought it would be a good idea to let Charles Barkley and the other sports hosts interview Tracy Morgan (of 30 Rock and Saturday night live fame)... And they ask him who's hotter Sarah Palin or Tina Fey (Liz Lemon). Needless to say Tracy says a PG-13 inappropriate comment about Sarah on live TV.

Atlanta Car Catches On Fire During Snow Storm

Atlanta's NBC affiliate was doing a live shot in town when a BMW driver spins out and crashes and then the car catches on fire. The driver lost traction on windy hill road and spun his tires so much that the car caught on fire. The TV crew talked the driver into getting out of the car and then they called 911 to get the fire department there.

Now the driver will have to call up his automobile insurance company and file a claim.

30 Rock Bloopers

One of NBC's shows on Thursday night is 30 Rock. The show spoofs NBC and Saturday night live. Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin do a great job as Liz Lemon and Jack Donahey---And over the course of filming, there's bound to be a few snafus and shots that need to be retaken.

This 2 minute blooper reel has some of the funnier out-takes that actually gets the actors themselves laughing.

News Team at WTMJ in Milwaukee wants a quickie

The evening news team at Milwaukee's NBC affiliate WTMJ were talking about the world's shortest happier hour (Just 15 minutes of $1 draft beers at the Nomad Pub on Brady Street.

The anchor man and lady banter a little bit and after they kick it over to the weatherman, then the older George Mallet says to Courtney Garish, "we could head over there for a quickie... er... I mean a quick drink".

Brian Gotter, the weatherman, then says... "boy it's getting hot in here, I guess we'll do anything for November sweeps week!"

Al Roker's leg is humped by a drunk break dancing ewok

During Halloween 2009, the friendly folks at NBC's "The Today Show" dressed up in Star Wars related costumes. The now skinny weatherman, Al Roker, was dressed up as either han solo or Lando Carlisian and he was being entertained by some break-dancing and moon-walking ewoks... It was pretty funny at first, but I really think that those midgets in the suits were probably drunk. Especially after one of the ewoks humped Al Roker's leg.

The guys at E!'s Talk Soup recently showed this clip and sometimes you might spot it on VH1 as well.

Woman falls during WSMV report

Jennifer Vickery of NBC's affiliate station WSMV in Nashville, TN was doing a local field report at the bridgestone arena when a woman in the background of the shot takes a stumble and falls down hard... And good ol' Ms. Vickery keeps on reporting her story.

This Dallas NBC affiliate reporter has no problems handling a snake with the critter's owner---but watch another lizard surprise the reporter in the end.
